Checking In!

Just finished with finals week and wanted to check in on my old blog. I don't think that anyone views this anymore, and I completely forgot about it until today, when I stumbled across some old art of mine. I was digging through this blog to find anything salvageable that I could remake, and I found this post - http://artandmore2.blogspot.com/2013/03/the-new-nikara.html

More than six years later, here is Nikara again! It's not a full body piece like the first one, but whew my art style sure did develop and change.

I have made a significant amount of art within the past years, but it would be a heck of challenge to post it all. Instead, I'll just show a few recent pieces that I'm proud of.

Another character, showing off how occasionally I'm not terrible at drawing animals' legs. They're named after Lyudmila Pavlichenko, if you're wondering about the name.

A cat-sheep, because I'm an Aries and their symbol is ram, but I can't just draw rams, so I added cat parts to it so I could kinda draw my zodiac.

Yeah, so, that's some of my art. I doubt anyone's still around to see this stuff, but if you are and wanna say hi, drop a comment below and I won't check this blog for another few years and never respond and I'll get back to you eventually. Have a nice day!

I Was Scared Of Pretty Girls And Starting Conversations --

Hey. Is anyone out there anymore? I might just be posting to nonexistent people, but that's alright. I just wanted to drop in and say hello. c:

I still don't have my new tablet (yeah, it's been over a year without it) and so I'm using my mousepad (which I've gotten less skilled at using, unfortunately) and here's the result of me trying to draw using it. Yeah, not my best artwork. But here's Seeker, just, y'know... making a face. Weirdo. Anyway, if you're wondering why the title is so weird, I just decided to use a song lyric for the title and it's from the song "Riptide" by... I'm not sure, actually. Oh well. But, yeah. Hiiii! c: I hope I can get a new tablet soon, so that I can actually start drawing here again.

It is, and if anyone's out there, sorry for abandoning this place. Got caught up with other stuff, and I never got my tablet cord. My computer is also failing to charge and so, I can't access it. Thank goodness for my brother's computer. But, yeah. I haven't posted for months. So here's something I found:

Hello! 8D Remember how I said I was going to draw more fruit/vegetable dogs? Well, thing is, I already had another one finished. This one, again, was made with a mousepad and paint tool sai. And it's based off a banana. BANANANANNANANNANAAS.

Very Berry

Hello! c: I was messing around in Paint Tool Sai using my mousepad (I really need to order that tablet cord for my computer... o.o) and made something that I thought wasn't completely horrible-looking! And so I messed around with the saturation and hues with the eyes, which is why it looks so strange, and then just used the Brush tool to make the fur. c:

I like it. It's also based off a berry or whatnot, and I plan on making more fruit/vegetable dogs. C8

Give My Heart To You

Hey peeeople! c: I'm posting another picture of art up a day after I put the other one up! Two days in a row, wow, new record. Just kiddin'. xD

I drew this in MS Paint, again, with a mousepad. And though the pink one's head is wayyyy too big I'm proud that I can make things that don't look like blobs in MS Paint. 8D But I'll be way happier when I get my tablet. So here, have this. Yes, the orange ones does have a heart in her mouth. c: This was supposed to a "Valentine-y" themed picture.
