History: It was only the beginning of winter, and almost all the prey had died already. It was the harshest winter the wolves, and dogs, had ever known. Her mother, a border collie, had given Baik away to her father, a gray wolf, so she could grow up in the wild - because Baik's mother lived with humans. When Baik was one month old, her father died of starvation. Baik, being only a little pup, was stronger then her father in this way. Being very small, she manged to go only a mile before collapsing. A kind she-wolf, who had recently lost all of her pups except one, found her and took her to her den. Baik stayed there, with a pup named Lemah who was very weak due to hardly any prey being left around. When they weren't too weak to move, and had to cuddle each other for warmth, they were playing while the she-wolf, Api, hunted. Two months later, Lemah died of starvation. Having only two mouths to feed now, it was easier for Api and Baik to survive. But still, it was beginning to blizzard more often and prey was dead...or just hanging on to life by a small, about to break, thread. After another month, Api showed Baik how to hunt. Baik often hunted with Api now, very excited about her new skills. Little did Baik know...Api was beginning to catch cold, and she wouldn't survive that. Another two months later, and Api died. Baik, now all alone, pushed her muzzle into Api's fur and murmured her good-byes. Then Baik left, hunting whatever was there. After more time passed, winter was coming to a end. Baik lived on her own for more months, and now is still roaming around. She often goes into towns, and in one of these towns, she met her real border collie mother, but she still roams in the city as a stray.
Wow. That was sad and hard to write. Hope you like it!
